1. Training objectives and requirements
Program Aims
The program seeks to develop students' solid skills in Russian language, especially in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translating, and help them acquire necessary professional trainings in translating and Russian language teaching, researches and applications in relevant fields so that the graduate students are able to use Russian proficiently and keep pace with the changing demands of the future study of Russian Linguistics.
Academic Requirements
* Firm grounding in Russian, proper basic knowledge on the capability of correct expressions in Russian.
* Systematic command of basic theoretical and professional knowledge about the professional knowledge of Russian Linguistics.
* Being well informed of the development in the area of Russian language and of the future trends in the concerned areas.
* Being with a strict and factualistic attitude and independent ability in scientific research.
* The ability of willing to acquire knowledge and being creative in translation.
* The ability of Russian listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translating and the ability of using computers and being qualified in reading and writing in a second foreign language .
