Degree in English (Teacher Education): Students are trained to learn a wide range of basic English language theories, proficient language ability as well as the ability to analyze and solve problems. Besides, the students are also expected to be qualified to work as both teachers and researchers in middle schools. Generally they are demanded to grasp a second foreign language. Core curriculum includes English reading, English pronunciation, English grammar, English listening, spoken English, English writing, English linguistics, British and American literature, pedagogy, psychology, research methodology and thesis writing, etc. Major elective courses include design of teaching syllabus, study of middle school English textbooks, new concepts in English education, simultaneous interpretation, internet English, English debate, computer language study, college Chinese language, etc. Students are granted the Bachelor degree of Arts with at least 175 credits, and the time range is 3 to 8 years.

Degree in Russian (Business): Students are trained to command solid Russian language foundation, relatively broad range of knowledge on business and culture, the ability to analyze and solve problems, and the spirit of teamwork and communicative abilities. Generally they are demanded to grasp a second foreign language (English), and pass the band II of PETS.
