French and German Department
Founded in 2003, French and German Department (originally known as French and German Teaching and Research Section) undertakes the teaching and administration of the undergraduates, and the teaching of the second foreign language for undergraduates and postgraduates (English Major).
In the establishment of French and German Department are Eleven professionals, among them Seven are French teachers, with Three lecturers and Four teaching-assistants, and Four are German teachers, with Two lecturers and Two teaching-assistants.
French and German Department has a clear academic orientation with more than Ten academic articles and Six translated works published.
Teachers in French and German Department have been successively sent to attend academic exchange programs and have set up favorable academic relations with several universities in France . Acting as interpreters and translators in some provincial and municipal public affairs, French and German Department has won highly approval from the public.
